Gaur Malhar

I was following my shadow
Eternity chased me away.
Sun stands worried now
I never touched it before

Gentler towards the oceans
I ride the tides of time
Swift and callous is the beginning
But never stagnant at all.

Winds hate the rough rocks of desire
So, I smoothened my gaze.
All the Spiders of world crawl on me
Yet, I fail to blink.

Garden of pleasures was burnt
Mud climbed the leaves
Friends gathered here, All
Before bees ate the gates

The bread of sorrows
Baked on fires of gloom,
And sips of troubles will all set soon
Along with the aged winter’s moon.

Gardens shed their spring,
And color betrayed flowers too.
On the tree of life,
Fruits are born to perish.

He Knew Tomorrow

he knew he would die in September
he did nothing
he knew he would die of his grief
grief of knowing, that
he would die in September.

he knew he would try happiness
he did nothing
he knew he wouldn’t outlive his urge
urge of happiness, for
he would die in September.

he knew he knows all his thoughts
he did nothing
he knew he was caught in this cycle
cycle of thoughts, that
he would die in September.

he knew he wished he knew nothing
he did nothing
he knew he would make this wish tomorrow
wish of forgetting tomorrow, for
he knew he would die in September.
